Draft, October 2026 • Team Emzadi

Emzadi measures how visitors move through a website, for the owner of that site. This page lists what we store, and what we don't.

What emz.js measures

A site that uses Emzadi loads the emz.js script. Per page view, it sends:

  • A session id from sessionStorage. It is gone when you close the tab.
  • The page path, where you came from and the screen class (such as mobile or desktop).
  • A fixed key per element that something happens on, the position of a click and how far you scroll.
  • Timing: how long a step, a field or loading took.
  • Texts from the site itself, such as buttons and headings.

What we don't store

  • No cookies, and nothing that recognises you across days.
  • No field values and no keystrokes. For a field we only measure the time, how often it changed and whether it stayed empty or invalid.
  • No IP address. We only use it briefly to limit abuse.
  • No session recordings and no mouse paths.
  • Nothing inside data-emz-ignore. Inside data-emz-private only clicks, without text.

How long we keep it

Individual events for 90 days. After that only daily totals per element and the runs through a funnel, for 13 months.

Who decides

The site owner decides which pages are measured. Emzadi processes the events on their behalf and sells nothing on. Questions about a particular site are best asked to that site.

Emzadi customers

For an account we store your email address, and your name if you add it. We use it to log you in and to send messages about your account and credit. On emzadi.online itself we only use functional cookies: to keep you logged in and to remember your language.
